Bike to Church Sunday, On June 16th, WMC will participate
in a fundraiser for MCC. We will ride, (or haul), our bikes
to Central Park in Washington at 8:30am for juice
and donuts then we'll ride together to church on East Polk. We
will get sponsors to pledge money for each block that we ride. See the flier
in your mailbox for the projects we will be helping to fund.
Elder selection will begin soon.
On June 23rd we’ll collect nominees during worship, so be
praying and thoughtfully considering who might be a good elder here at
Washington Mennonite. Francis Litwiller
is finishing up his 2nd term, so he is inelligible. Myron Graber and Barb Ramsey are the other
current elders.
