Artist’s Statement

“I was inspired by verse 2, ‘Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.’  I used watercolors to create a grey grid (the pattern of this world) where certain boxes have ‘exploded’ or ‘renewed’ and the bright splashes of color represent the newness of life and the transformation of individuals in Christ.”                                                                                         - Amanda Beachy
