VBS is coming up fast!
Many have been confused about the VBS announcement in Bearing Fruit. I'd like to clear things up a bit. VBS is happening on Saturday and Sunday, August 11th and 12th (NOT the 10th and 11th). We will meet at the church from 9:30 til 3:25 on Saturday. Sunday, the whole congregation will have church at the regular time. The church service will be VBS themed, featuring songs and drama from VBS. After church, we will have fellowship time but no Sunday school.
Following church on Sunday, the entire congregation is invited to the Custer Picnic shelter at Crooked Creek at 11:30 for a cookout lunch that will be provided by the VBS committee! Following the picnic, all are invited to stay and swim at the Crooked Creek swimming pool!
There is still time to register children, grandchildren, neighbors and any youngsters you know! Registration forms are found on the foyer table at church, or just show up a bit early on Saturday to register. We have a few signed up and would love a few more!

Saturday August 11: VBS 9:30-3:25 at church
Sunday August 12: church at 9:30, all church cookout (food provided) at Custer picnic shelter at CCCC at 11:30, followed by swimming.
