Menno! Thanks for remembering us!” Diane, Doug, Brent & Mo
The visuals for Easter to Pentecost will be a burning candle representing the Holy Spirit and
a film covered mirror representing vision.
Each Sunday the vision becomes clearer and sequins are added, first in a
cluster, later more scattered to represent Jesus’ disciples being dispersed
into the world. We are Jesus’ disciples
commissioned to go across the street and around the world.
The ever-popular Children’s Drama at IMS will be given this afternoon at 2:00 PM in the school’s
Celebration Hall. The plays are sure to
cause laughter and enjoyment, and all are invited to attend. Admission is by donation, with all proceeds
benefiting the IMS drama department.
Crooked Creek Christian Camp still has a spot for you at the starting line of today’s
5k Fun Run & Walk! Join us at 4:30
today to stretch your legs and support the Campership Fund!
IMS’ Compassion Group is
sponsoring a blood drive through the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center,
in honor of 2008 graduate Theo Yoder.
Having undergone several cancer surgeries, and currently receiving
chemotherapy treatments, all of us are aware of the need for blood donations,
transfusions, etc. The drive will take
place May 2, from 7:00 AM – 12:00 noon in the IMS gym. Appointments can be made by contacting the
school (319.656.2073)—walk-ins will also be welcome!
