The visuals for Easter to Pentecost will be a burning candle representing the Holy Spirit and a film covered mirror representing vision. Each Sunday the vision becomes clearer and sequins are added, first in a cluster, later more scattered to represent Jesus’ disciples being dispersed into the world. We are Jesus’ disciples commissioned to go across the street and around the world.
Last Sunday we had Keith and Kate Slater, along with their family, here for worship and Sunday School. They have sent their newsletter to the church. It is on the bulletin board. They are required to raise their own support for their work in China. If you would like to support them in their work in China there is some information in their newsletter.
Reminder that tonight the IMS touring choir will be here for their spring concert at 7:00 PM. There will be an offering taken to provide for the IMS music department.
