Preaching schedule for April

• April 24: Grant Nebel

• May 1: Keith & Kate Slater, China missionaries

On Thursday, April 21st we will be having a Maundy Thursday Service here at the church at 6:30 PM. Come and help us remember and celebrate the last supper Jesus shared with his disciples.

On Sunday, April 24th there will be an Easter brunch in the church fellowship hall from 8:00 – 9:00 AM. Please feel free to bring yummy breakfast food to share, in fellowship, with our church family. There will be no Sunday School on Easter Sunday due to the brunch.

Those who are renewing their subscription to THE MENNONITE, should put $37.00 in the offering and write “The Mennonite” on the memo line.

April 30th has been set as a time for spring cleaning at the church. We will begin at 1:30 PM. There will be more information next week.

Mennonite Mission prayer request: Mennonite Mission Network requests prayer for Service Adventure participants in Raleigh, N.C. -- Tim Gautsche, Alex Goering, Khalicia Leichty, Debora Sanchez, and leaders Leah and Todd Gusler – as they minister through Habitat for Humanity, Ten Thousand Villages, food ministries, urban farming, computer refurbishing, and preschool care.

Are you interested in opening your home by hosting an international student who wishes to attend Iowa Mennonite School next year? Each year there are a number of students wishing to attend IMS, pending identification of a host family. Specifically, a student from Ecuador is planning to attend; there also may be others as we move through the spring and summer. Please contact admissions director Chris Nachtigall or principal Tony Miller to receive further information
