IMS Principal Search Committee Update | The committee met recently to discuss the interview process and develop questions. Access to the IMS Candidate Viewbook and the application process are available on the IMS website (www.iowamennonite.org/joinourteam) with an application deadline of January 1st. Please encourage those you believe
would be a good fit for IMS to apply. Your continued prayers are appreciated for the search committee as well as the future IMS principal.

First Look Friday | We are setting aside the first Friday of each month for drop-in tours to parents and/or students who want to see what IMS has to offer in a more casual way than our Visit Days. The next one happens on January 4. Candi Schmieder will be available in the front office from 8:00AM-4:00PM for anyone who wants to drop by, get a tour and talk about your expectations for a high school education for your son or daughter.

Visit Days | January 21 and February 18 are the upcoming Visit Days for 8th graders and transfer students. Join a host student in classes, chapel, and lunch. Parents can come at the beginning of the day to meet with the Administrative Team to get information and answers to any questions they may have. Register at

Do you remember when Crowded Closet Thrift Shop  moved in 1997? Your MCC Thrift Shop is on the move again in 2019, and we need you! Volunteers are needed for assembly, painting, meal preparation, hauling (trucks & trailers welcome!), and more! Email crowdedcloset.volunteer@gmail.com to join the relocation action that begins at the end of January.

Have you wondered where you fit in God's story? Or what  in the world God is up to? The Perspectives of the World Christian Movement course is coming to Kalona for the first time! Beginning January 15, 2019, we will spend time with different instructors each week as we look at God's redemptive plans and purposes for all people. We will see how Scripture, history, culture, and strategy come together to reveal the whole story and our role in it.  Early registration deadline is December 16th. Family and book discounts are also available, along with credit information at perspectives.org. For questions contact Karla Neuschwander, neuschb@gmail.com or 319-328-8733.
