Mennonite
▪ Thanks to the Crooked Creek Counselors
who are leading us in worship this morning!
Amanda, Grant, Mary Lou, and Andrea
are representing Washington Mennonite this weekend at The Central Plains
Conference Annual Meeting in Des Moines.
▪ Crooked Creek Camp is looking for
volunteers to help in the kitchen this summer.
Anyone able to help contact
Jared Widmer for a list of days and times.
▪ Washington Mennonite Summer Worship
Series: Remember to sign up in the foyer to be a Children’s story
and playtime supervisor, to bring
fellowship snacks, or to provide
lunch for the baptism class.
Crooked Creek
Christian Camp
▪ Camp starts today with 4th-5th
graders. We thank you for prayers for campers, counselors and
all staff as we minister to children sharing the love of Jesus. May the presence of Christ be with us all.
Iowa Mennonite
School
▪ IMS Summer Camps are still open! Please
check out the schedule of camps on our website:
http://www.iowamennonite.org/camps
▪ IMS’ fiscal year ends June 30, and your gift is important as we close out the year
and attempt to end the year in the black.
Please consider a year-end contribution in support of our students and
the Christian education they receive.
Thank you for your prayerful consideration!
Iowa MCC Relief
Sale
▪ The Iowa Mennonite Relief Sale board
is grateful for another successful Sale.
The gross receipts at this time are nearly $180,000! This
amount is lower than last year but a more complete report will be given after
all payments and
income
are received. We are very appreciative
of the good showing of many volunteers, participants, and donors to further the
efforts of MCC to meet basic human needs and work for peace and justice around
the world.
Central Plains
Conference
▪ Register now for Youth Escape 2016 and connect with youth from other Central Plains
churches, be inspired by speaker Michele Hershberger, and have a blast doing
your favorite camp activities!
Registration deadline is July 7; register online at www.centralplainsmc.org/youth-escape-2016
▪ The Sower Prayer Request: This
morning CPMC Annual Meeting 2016 wraps up with a final worship service. Pray for your sisters and brothers gathered
in Des Moines this weekend.
Mennonite Agencies
▪ This summer months bring lots of volunteers to the MCC
Material Resource Center (MRC) in
North Newton, Kan., and we love it! We’ve
had such good help lately that we need to replenish a few kit items to keep our
future volunteers busy! Here’s the current list of most needed
items: shampoo (13-24 oz), nail clippers, large bars of laundry soap, bath
and hand towels (medium weight, dark or bright colors), fabric measuring tape
(metric), sanitary pads (18-24 ct, thin maxi).
Donations may be brought to the MRC in person, purchased online and shipped
to MCC or you can simply donate money
designated “Kit supplies” and MCC will purchase the need items. Questions?
Call 316.283.2720. MCC Central
States PO Box 235; 121 E 30th St, North Newton, KS 67117. For full kit lists visit mcc.org/kits. Thank you for your ongoing generosity!
