Come this evening at 6:00 for prayers for Central Plains Mennonite Conference Annual Meeting in June and for Mennonite Church USA Convention in July.  Let us pray together for our denomination as important decisions are being considered and made, and as delegates and youth get ready to come together for discernment, fellowship, and fun!

Movie & Popcorn tonight at 7:00 after the prayer meeting!  Title still to be announced, be sure to come for fun and fellowship!

Grant and Edie are not here today.  Grant is preaching at Pleasant View Mennonite Church.

Have you made your contribution/pledge yet?  Washington Mennonite’s Kitchen Remodeling Project fundraising is in full swing!  Our goal is $52,900 by July 1, 2015.  As of today we have $22,700 raised (43%).  The measuring cup in the foyer will continue to fill up as we reach our goal.  Pledge cards and a basket for collecting them can be found on the table at the back of the sanctuary.  Please take a few minutes to fill out your pledge and drop it in the basket or come prepared to do so in the next few weeks.  As soon as we know we can reach our goal, local contractors can be notified so the project is on their calendars.  Work could begin later this summer.  Help us make this project a reality!

The Nurture Ministry will be offering an adult Bible Study for 8 weeks this summer beginning June 2nd.  The study is put out by Menno Media and is titled “With the Word: Luke.”  Amanda will lead this study on Tuesday evenings.  See the note in your mailbox for more information and contact Mary Lou by May 17th to sign up!
