Martha Hernandez, pastor

                                              Abiding
“As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” Ephesians 4:1-3
Paul was in prison, the most humble of positions, but he remembered his call. You recently called me to be an elder at Washington Mennonite. My prayer is that I can live by the words of Paul, and be that gentle, patient person that can help to keep this church family a safe and loving place for every person.
