“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27
When I wake during the night and I don’t want to “worry my way out” of a problem, I say this verse. Jesus says that he will give us that perfect peace if we are willing to accept it from Him. How comforting it is to know that God can take care of my worries and fears by allowing the Holy Spirit to fill me with His peace.
