Sunday morning prayer time at WMC – Come to church at 8:50 AM each Sunday morning for a time of prayer for any concerns you may have. Everyone is welcome.

We congratulate Adam & Sara Miller of Pella, IA. Sarah gave birth to a 7 lb. 1 ½ oz. baby girl, Kora Beth on January 13th.

If you want to have a Subway sandwich and a pre-sermon discussion on next Sunday’s topic, “Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name” join me in the fellowship hall at 12:15 on Tuesday, January 25.

Knotting Comforters: An all-church knotting party will be held at the church on Wednesday evening, January 26, starting at 6 PM. The sewing group works hard for the MCC Sale and other causes. Let’s support them with a time of work and fellowship. Bring a can of soup, (nothing weird), to mix with others and we’ll have soup and relish for supper. Everyone is welcome.

Preaching schedule for February/March—

• Feb. 6: Thy Kingdom come Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven

• Feb. 13: Worship in music

• Feb. 20: Give us this day our daily bread

• Feb. 27: Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors

• Mar. 6: Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil

Mission Network prayer request: Pray for Akiko Aratani and Raymond Epp and their family, working with Mennonite Mission Network at Menno Village in Japan. They model Jesus’ message of hope and peace through worship, hospitality, counseling, and healing an ailing agricultural system.

We don’t want to miss anybody, so be sure to let us know if your picture doesn’t get posted on the “Picture Wall”. To contribute your picture, or have us take one, see a member of our committee: Tim Widmer, Mike Bates, Carol Detweiler, Grant Nebel, and Roger Farmer.
