Iowa Mennonite School
▪ The IMS Operating Board is pleased to announce the
appointment of Dwight Gingerich to the position of principal. Dwight currently serves as interim principal and
is no stranger to IMS, having served in a range of positions for over thirty
years. Dwight brings proven administrative skills and leadership
capabilities and his appointment strongly supports Iowa Mennonite School's
commitment to Igniting Mind & Spirit for Christian discipleship
in the church and around the world. Please join the board in welcoming
Dwight into his position.

families considering IMS for high school. We will have a tour of the school,
you will meet faculty, and get to talk with current parents and students about
their IMS experience. We will also have information available about applying to

interfering with our last Visit Day, on March
19 we are combining our Bring-A-Friend Day with an additional Visit Day. If

Iowa MCC Relief
Sale
▪ In honor of the 40th
anniversary of the Iowa Mennonite Relief Sale, we are hosting
the $40 for 40 campaign. We are looking for 1,000 people to
raise $40,000 in honor of 40 years. Donations can now be made online via Paypal
at www.iamccreliefsale.org. Th is will be an amazing way to
celebrate how God has used us as blessings to the World in this 40th season of
giving!

its Annual Meeting at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church on March 3rd at 2 PM. Come and see

▪ Everence to hold Medicare workshop in Wayland – Everence will host its popular workshop, Make Medicare an easy step, on Tuesday, March 12 at 6:30 p.m. Attendees will learn about the various Medicare plans and
what they cover; plans that supplement Medicare; and enrollment details and
deadlines. The workshop will be presented by Everence staff and will be held at
Wayland Community Center (Main gathering room) 218 W. Main St., Wayland. The workshop is

Mission Network Prayer Request: Eric and Kelly Frey Martin are traveling from Colombia to Ecuador to
join Mennonite Mission Network personnel for a retreat. Pray for a time of
meaningful worship and renewal as long-term and short-term workers share
experiences to equip them for continued ministry.

▪ Spring meeting of the Crowded Closet Association will be held
at the new Crowded Closet location in Pepperwood Plaza on Monday, March 18,
at 7 pm. All volunteers and interested persons are invited to attend and
learn of the latest happenings at Crowded Closet.
▪ “How do I say that in PA
Dutch?” Mark Louden, a University of Wisconsin Professor
of German and Religious studies will speak at the March 18, 7:00 p.m. meeting of the Iowa Mennonite Historical Society. Mark is a fluent speaker of PA
Dutch. He regularly helps mediate understandings between PA Dutch and English
speaking communities. The meeting will be at Kalona Mennonite Church.
