Iowa Mennonite School
▪ Touring Choir | The IMS Touring Choir is on tour! This
Sunday they are singing at Washington Mennonite and their next concert is
on Sunday, February 24 at 9:30AM at West Union Mennonite

performances.
▪ IMS Cafe | This years Culinary Arts Class restaurant
dates are February 28, March 14, April 25. The
restaurant opens at 8:30AM each day and the menu will include various
entrees, sides, and desserts. Reservations are required and can be made by

▪ MCC's Sharing With Appalachia People (SWAP)
program is seeking volunteer groups, individuals and summer staff. Summer
will be here before we know it, so make your summer plans now to join SWAP in
Kentucky or West Virginia. Don't miss out on your chance to serve with this
home repair ministry while learning about life in Appalachia. Groups or
individuals can volunteer to serve as week-long volunteers. SWAP is also
looking for summer staff to serve as job site coordinators and meals
coordinators/cooks for three month assignments. For more information about

Mission Network Prayer Request: Diana
Cruz and Felipe Preciado of Mennonite Mission Network are serving at La Casa Grande children’s home in
Benin. Pray for good health and open hearts as Diana and Felipe teach English,
assist with gardening, and share God’s love with each child.

▪ Kalona MOPS will be holding their annual
Lunch Fundraiser on Sunday,
February 17, 2019 at the Kalona
Mennonite Church from 11:30am to 1pm. We will be serving smoked pork loin,
party potatoes, strawberry lettuce salad, green beans, fluff, and better than
anything cake. The cost is a free will offering and all proceeds go to benefit
the Kalona MOPS organization. Carry out is available.
▪ RightNow Ministries is again holding a Work
as Worship simulcast at
Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church. It features some of the best known Christian businesspersons in the
US talking about the integration of their work and worship. Tickets are
$30 and includes registration, break and lunch. It begins at 7:30 am and
ends at 2:30 pm. Come to enjoy the inspiring messages and bring your
entire office and working staff on Friday, February
