As was announced by the elders last Sunday, we have been working with Amanda on a sabbatical for her sometime this fall.  It looks like it will fit in on September, October, November.  This is for her rest and rejuvenation.  From Phyllis Litwiller’s meditation on June 21st, “Rest is healing…it is then that we hear the gentle whisper of God.”  Amanda will be telling us more about it soon.  Please pray for her and for the elders and Grant as we commit to step up and make the experience seamless!

“I wanted to say thank you to everyone for their help and support for our recent pie and ice cream fundraiser as well as the support you have shown us as we have prepared for the youth convention.  It is so wonderful to be a part of a loving church family.  I am so very grateful for each and everyone at this church.  We were able to reach our goal for convention.  Thank you!”    - Amy Widmer and the MYF

“I appreciate all of the help you provided in helping me get moved while I was in the hospital.  You folks did a great job.”     - God bless you, David Chorpening Sr.
