Our Church

Happy Birthday to: Don Headrick (2/20),
Andrea Nussbaum (2/22)

Offering for 2/9/2014: $2,075 (regular); $200 (HACAP)

Please welcome Deb and Reg Roth to our worship service today.  Deb and Mary Lou Farmer will play piano duets for Prelude and Offering.  Deb and Reg attend Sugar Creek Mennonite Church in Wayland and Deb and Mary Lou played piano duets last week at Sugar Creek.

The Sounds of Washington Choir has given our church a donation in appreciation of the use of the building on Tuesday nights for rehearsals.

IMS’ Turkey Steak Supper will take place on March 15, served by the Alumni Association and Washington Township Optimists.  There are no advance tickets available, and the meal will be served on a donation basis; it will be held in the IMS cafeteria, located below the gym.  From the Washington Mennonite congregation, we are requesting 5 pies and 4 workers (the 4:15-6:15 pm shift).  Workers and pies should be indicated on the signup sheet posted, or please contact Keith Hostetler: email, appraisals at netins.net or call, 319.430.0132.

The Sunday morning Church services are now being recorded!  If you would like to listen to a service you may have missed, see the table in the library and sign-out a CD.  If you would like a copy to keep, just place a blank CD or USB drive with your name and the date of the recording you want in the mailbox labeled “Recording Requests.”
