Calling all worship leaders, all those who have ever been asked to lead worship, all those who have wondered what exactly a worship leader is supposed to do, and all those who have ever had even the slightest inclination to lead worship!  Mark your calendars for Sunday, January 19!  We’re planning a potluck lunch and short presentation on the nuts and bolts or worship leading.  What is the job of a worship leader?  How should the worship leader prepare?  How do we lead the congregation into worship?  Come to learn the exciting answers to these and other important questions!  Please let Amanda know if you would like to participate.

Crooked Creek Christian Camp

All senior high youth are invited to join us at Crooked Creek on Sunday, March 2^nd for an all-day youth event.  More details to come, but you won’t want to miss out on this day jam-packed full of fun!

The Sower Prayer Request:  Pray for our conference that God would shape the desire of our hearts toward being biblically-grounded, Christ-centered communities.

Mennonite Agencies

Mennonite Mission Network Prayer Request:  Freddy and Margrit Kipfer Barrón of MMN build up the Bolivia Mennonite Church through serving in pastoral roles, leadership training, and Christian education ministries.  Pray that God would inspire and strengthen them as they encourage the next generation of decision-makers in the church.

Prayers for faith and learning:  Pray for new students entering Eastern Mennonite Seminary this spring.  Pray for God’s wisdom and guidance as they prepare for ministry on all levels.

Areas Churches

Parkview will be hosting our 2^nd Winter Fundraiser Appreciation Banquet Feb 8, 2014 at Bethel Church.  The evening will consist of a catered meal, a short report and a small auction with popular items.  Watch for more information to follow.
