Calling all worship leaders, all those who have ever been asked to lead worship, all those who have wondered what exactly a worship leader is supposed to do, and all those who have ever had even the slightest inclination to lead worship!  Mark your calendars for Sunday, January 19!  We’re planning a potluck lunch and short presentation on the nuts and bolts or worship leading.  What is the job of a worship leader?  How should the worship leader prepare?  How do we lead the congregation into worship?  Come to learn the exciting answers to these and other important questions!  Please let Amanda know if you would like to participate.

Get out your black & gold and save the date, because Washington Mennonite is going to a U of I Women’s basketball game on Jan 25th!  We are planning on eating together at a TBD location in Iowa City around 5pm, so please meet at the church by 4pm is you’re interested in carpooling.  The game starts at 6pm at Carver Hawkeye.  Depending on our group size, we can get a reduced rate for tickets so please let Myron or Fun Megan know if you’re interested in attending.       – The Frivolity Committee
