Please pray for the people of Japan and especially members of the Japan Mennonite Christian Conference and the Tokyo Area Fellowship of Mennonite Churches.  Mennonite Mission Network has one worker and four families of mission associates living in Japan.  We are grateful to God that none have so far indicated being harmed by Friday’s tragic magnitude 8.9 earthquake, which triggered a tsunami that has reportedly killed hundreds of people in northeastern Japan.  Pray for safety, comfort, and God’s peace in the chaos that now surrounds them.
