Iowa MCC Relief Sale
▪ any thanks to each of you who have supported Mennonite Central Committee during these unprecedented times and the cancellation of the Iowa Mennonite Relief Sale. Due to COVID-19, MCC is anticipating the cancellation of all of the relief sales and saw numerous temporary closures of nearly all its thrift stores in North America, losing millions of dollars in annual revenue. Our goal for this spring was to raise $65,000 for MCC - since May 1st, we have raised just over $26,000 and while the donations are still coming in, we think we can do better. If you still plan to give, donations can be mailed to Iowa Mennonite Relief Sale at PO Box 234, Kalona, IA 52247 or given through the PayPal account on our website http://www.iamccreliefsale.org.
▪ Thank you to everyone who participated, donated or cheered on someone for the Iowa Mennonite Relief Sale Socially-Distant 5K last weekend! We had over 50 registrants from across seven states joining us!
