Iowa MCC Relief Sale

Many thanks to all who have donated towards the pre-sale expenses of  the 2018 Iowa Mennonite Relief Sale. To date, we have raised $32,500 of our projected $44,000 goal. By reaching this pre-sale goal, we can promote the sale by saying 100% of our proceeds will go directly to Mennonite Central Committee. If you wish to donate, please contact your Iowa Relief Sale church representative or send a check directly to: Iowa Mennonite Relief Sale; PO Box 234; Kalona, IA  52247

The Iowa Mennonite Relief Sale, June 1 and 2 at the Johnson County Fairgrounds, will be here before you know it! Below are ways you can be involved and highlights not to miss!
    - It's not too late to sign up for the 5K Relief Sale Trail Run! Beginning at the Johnson County Fairgrounds and continuing
through neighboring Ryerson Woods, a 5K Trail Run will be
just the thing to get you ready for the all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast! A 1-mile walk for all ages will also take place at the fairgrounds. The Run/Walk begins at 8am on Saturday, June 2. Cost is $30/person, Register for both the run and walk at GetMeRegistered.com, search for "Relief Sale Trail Run".
    - Homemade baked goods are a real treat! Check with your church representative on how you can help in making pies, rolls or other baked goods to be sold at the sale.
    - There is still time to sign up for the Tractorcade. The tractorcade leaves Fairview Mennonite Church at 1:30pm on Friday, June 1 to head to the fairgrounds. Your church representative has the sign up form. Contact LaVern Shetler at 319-530-0032 for questions.
    - Volunteers are still needed. Visit www.iamccrelief sale.org/volunteering.html to sign up and be a part of this great time.
