Saturday Kitchen  Washington Mennonite is in charge of the noon meal for Saturday Kitchen on Saturday September 2nd at the United Presbyterian Church here in Washington.  Signup sheets for donated food items and workers are in the foyer here at the church.  Please sign up and join us as we prepare and serve a meal for persons in the community who need a noon meal but also look forward to the fellowship.  We also provide carry out meals that day for persons who are home bound. For questions or comments please contact one of the committee members Gloria Widmer, Phyllis Litwiller or Sandy Buhrow.  Thank you in advance for helping us prepare and serve the noon meal at Saturday Kitchen September 2nd.

Please place your school kits and/or relief kits in the foyer today! They will be going to Crowded Closet this week until they can be shipped to a regional MCC center. Thank you for your generous donations.

Last Sunday the congregation was invited to sign a “Petition on Gun Violence in the United States” sponsored by Central Plains Mennonite Conference. Please consider signing this petition. Thank you.
