▪ The Annual Blueprint report: Five Sundays in a month are great for the
annual blueprint! The balance at the end of January was $1594.33! Your strong
support is appreciated as we enter February which has "once-a-year"
expenses coming due. Thanks for your continued generosity. If you have

▪ In February, the MYF will be providing treats during
Fellowship time to raise money for their trip to the Mennonite
Youth Convention in Orlando, Florida, this summer. Please give
generously.
▪ Pretzels!! Do you love Martha’s soft
pretzels and always wanted to learn to make them? Come to the church kitchen at 5 p.m., tonight,
and Martha will teach us. Please sign up on the sheet in the foyer so that
adequate preparations can be made.
▪ Saturday Kitchen Sign-up
sheets for Saturday Kitchen are on the table in the
foyer for food items and workers at the Saturday Kitchen
meal we are hosting on Saturday February 18th at the United Presbyterian Church.
Please join us as we
work together serving a hot meal to persons in the community who come
and enjoy the food and fellowship.
▪ The Memorial Service for Ken Egli will be on Sunday, February 19th at Lower Ceer Creek
Church at 3:00pm.

School
▪ Singing Valentines - The IMS Chamber
Singers will be performing them again this year on Tuesday February
14. They will
deliver 2 songs for $35 or several songs for a group for $60. Each
Singing Valentine will also include a small (4 piece box) of Kalona
Chocolates.
▪ Visit Day - February 20 8th
grade and transfer students are invited to visit IMS for a day. Parents are invited for a short
informational meeting at the start of the day from 8-9am. Come for coffee
and visit with the administrative team to get information & ask questions.
Students from 8AM – 3:15PM tour facilities, visit classes with a host
student, eat lunch, meet faculty & other future students. If neither of
these dates work to visit, you can contact Candi Schmieder to schedule another

“Tuesdays with Dave” Webinars is coming soon!
This series will focus on how the life and message of our churches can be
infused with grace, joy and peace in a world seeking hope. Join us on
Tuesday, February 28, at 7 pm for
the first teaching video “Witness in Exile: Longing for a Better Place” or at
7:30 pm for an online interactive conversation based on this video. You
are strongly encouraged to view the teaching video ahead of time in any setting
where groups in your congregation gather (Sunday School, Bible Study, small
group, etc.) or by individuals at home. The teaching videos can be

Conference Prayer Request: Pray for our brothers
and sisters in Ecuador as they seek new pastoral leadership for their
congregation. Give thanks for the faithful leadership that Pastor Luis Tapia
has provided this community in recent years.

annual MDS unit meeting will be on Sunday, March 5th, at Eicher Emmanuel Mennonite Church in
Wayland. Beginning time will be 2:00 PM. See Myron for

Turning Hidden Resources into Assets” is open. This second joint MHS Mennonite Health Assembly and

annual Mush Fry from 11:30 to 1:00 on March 5, 2017. Invite family and friends to this old fashioned meal of
