Washington Area

Parkview Home is looking for someone to help keep its website updated.  We are looking for a creative individual who can log on to the website periodically and review the content and suggest changes and updates.  We want to keep the content fresh, and we want to include information that is important to you.  Please consider this opportunity to help out!!  The person doing this job does not need the computer skills necessary to make the changes – we can do that.  We just need your creative input so we can make those changes.  If interested talk to Tammy or Bill at 256.3525.

The spring meeting of the Mennonite Historical Society will be held at Kalona Mennonite Church on April 29th at 7 pm.  The program will include watching video excerpts from “Dramatic Monologues.”  The monologues portray the life challenges and joys of our Amish and Mennonite ancestors when they first came to this area.  The monologues were performed by local persons at the sesquicentennial celebration in 1996.  Refreshments will be served and a free will offering will be taken.  Everyone is welcome.
