 ABIDING

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

                                                                                                               - Romans 8:38-39

This well-known passage has been one of my favorites for many years.  It reminds me that no matter what happens to me, no matter where I am or who I’m with, or no matter what I’ve done, God will always be there with me  and will love me unconditionally.  It is a simple, but powerful reminder of the awesome depth of God’s love for all of us.                                                                             - Jeff Garrett
