In order to allow more access to your representative, Everence has partnered with Wayland Mennonite Church to create an outreach location at the church.  On the third Tuesday of every month, this month will be August 16, Jeff Swartzentruber and Justin Brokaw will be available from 10 AM to 2 PM at Wayland Mennonite Church.  They will also be available by appointment during the remainder of the day.  They will be available to help with questions on current accounts, help in reviewing your Part D plan, budgeting and retirement savings assistance, as well as health, life, and long term care insurance needs.  Our desire at Everence is to help you follow God’s will for your life in managing what God has given.  Give us a call at 877.656.4242.

“Innovative Ideas for Farmers,” a breakfast seminar presented by Everence Financial, will be held Wednesday, August 24, from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM, at Crooked Creek Christian Camp in Washington, and repeated Thursday, August 25, at Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church in Kalona, also from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM.  Attendees will learn strategies for leaving a personal charitable legacy, financial planning solutions, and ways to reflect faith values in financial decision-making.  Those interested in attending should plan to reserve their spots no later than August 17 by calling Cheryl Martin Miller toll-free at 877.656.4242, locally at 319.656.4242, or by sending her an email at cheryl.martinmillerateverence.com.

Crooked Creek Christian Camp invites you to join us on our annual Canoe Trip down the Skunk River on Saturday, August 27, 2011 @ 9:00 AM.  Cost is $18/adult and $12/child ages 10 and under.  Food will be provided and half-day option is available.  Please contact the camp at 319.653.3611 to save your spot today!

Quality, sincerity, and ministry are just a few of the words used to describe the exciting Nashville trio, Harvest Gold.  Three gifted individuals have joined forces to share the Good News in one of the most unique groups in Southern gospel music.  Together, these three talented vocalists have created a sound that is rooted in tradition, yet fresh and exciting.  With tight harmony, great original songs, and a dose of fun, it’s more than just singing.  Harvest Gold is sharing the love of Jesus Christ.  Join us on August 28th, 10:30 AM at Wayland Mennonite to be uplifted and energized through their gift of music.  Free will offering.

Sing & S’mores will be hosted at Crooked Creek Christian Camp on Sunday, September 11, 2011 at 5:30 PM.  Bring your lawn chair, your blue Hymnal Worship Book, your singing voice and your creativity as the camp will provide a S’mores Smorgasbord limited only by your appetite!  Please, join us for a night of fellowship through hymns, stories and s’mores! Free will offering will be taken.
