Offering for 10/29/17 - $1,645 (General Fund); $500 (IMS Student Aid)
▪ Saturday Kitchen was hosted
by WMC last Saturday October 21st. It was a busy morning as we
served 96 plates of ham and scallop potatoes, green beans, grapes, dinner rolls
and assorted bars for dessert. We also made 23 carry outs. Thank
you to everyone who helped us. We worked fast when we found out there was
also a wedding at the church in the afternoon. The groom and his attendants
were entering the church as we left. We always appreciate your help as we
take our turn hosting Saturday Kitchen. Our next date to serve is Saturday December 9th.

Crooked Creek Christian Camp
▪ November 11 is WOOD CUTTING DAY starting at 8am
until finished. Lunch is provided, please RSVP by calling the camp office or
your local camp rep.
▪ November 14 is ANNUAL MEETING with dinner served at 6:15pm.
All are invited to celebrate camp ministry.
▪ November 17-18 is CRAFT RETREAT from 3pm to 3pm.

Iowa Mennonite School
▪ Anne of Green Gables | Today IMS will present the second
and final performance of the fall musical, Anne of Green
Gables directed by Alisa Kandel and Michael Swartzendruber. If you haven't
purchased tickets, they will
be available at the door. Students | Grades
6-8 and their families are invited to
join us following the musical performance for a backstage tour and
meet-the-cast event. Refreshments will be served. Come and see this important
part of our school.
▪ Blood Drive | Tuesday November 7 from 7:00-11:00AM.
The IMS chapter of the National Honor Society is hosting a blood drive at IMS.
Plan now to donate blood by scheduling a donation time through the office 319-656-2073.

School Auditorium. JOYFUL NOISE is an adult special needs choir, directed by Amy (Swartzendruber)
Drayfahl, made up of 30+ individuals, ranging in age from 16-70+ years, from
Washington County. They are excited to take the stage and share “name”
songs from all decades and styles, along with their contagious JOY!
All who attend will be entertained and truly blessed by their
performance.
