Upside
down & inside out
Easter:
We have waited for this
We know how things work: what’s dead stays dead,
what’s true stays true. Yet God turns the ways of the world inside out,
bringing life out of a grave and erasing the distinction between insiders and
outsiders. What if the only way to receive is to let go?
FIRST LOOK
We invite you to greet those around you and welcome visitors to
our time of worship as you enter the sanctuary.
As the prelude begins, we invite you
to end your conversations with those around you and quiet your hearts and minds
in preparation for the worship service.

Children’s Time
If God is going to turn us upside down and inside out during this
Lenten season, we will need to give our consent to that transformation by being
oriented toward, and around, God. The
classic way Christians have done this is through prayer. Each week during Lent the children (and adults)
will be invited to participate in different ways of praying—ways of praying
that invite God to focus and refocus our lives on and in Christ.
