Shelter by the pond. After singing, roast marshmallows and have S'mores. You
can also canoe and kayak. Bring a lawn chair and blue hymnal if you have
one.

for providing a pastor for the Hmong Mennonite Church of St. Paul. Pastor
Pornchai Thosaengsiri (Seng) will be installed today. Pray that Pastor Seng and
the church may grow in fruitful ministry, guided by the Holy Spirit.

Mission Network Prayer Request: Today on Peace Sunday, Mennonite Mission Network joins Mennonite Church
USA and Mennonite World Conference in “praying for the peace of Jerusalem.” May
we all find inspiration to respond to conflict in ways that do not perpetuate
violence.

from Iowa, will be performing Sept 21st at 1:30pm at the United Methodist Church in
Washington. For more information on this

Evie Yoder Miller, a Kalona native, will conduct a book reading on
Monday, Sept 22, 7pm, at the Kalona Public Library. Her second recently published book, Everyday Mercies, is a novel of four
generations of women from Mennonite backgrounds whose lives reveal the tensions
and humor of family living. Come spend
the evening with Evie and Everyday
Mercies.
