Our
group subscription plan to The Mennonite
is renewing. The
Mennonite, magazine for Mennonite Church USA, seeks to fulfill its mission
of helping readers glorify God, grow in faith and become agents of healing and
hope in the world through articles that challenge and inspire, news that
connects readers to the larger Mennonite community and much more. If you are interested in joining our group

The IMS Touring Choir will present a program of music this
evening at Wellman Mennonite Church at 6pm.
All are invited.
IMS is hosting an evening of
information for interested 8th grade students and parents, on
Tuesday, April 1 at 7pm. The meeting will be in Celebration Hall, and will include an information session, a chance
to meet teachers, and hear from current students and parents. Please contact Candi Schmieder for more
information.
IMS students will perform, “Boring,
BORING Book Bop” and “Put Your Pants On!” at 7pm on April 5 and at 2pm on April
6, in this year’s Children’s Drama performances. Admission is by donation only, benefitting
the IMS drama department.
Tickets are still available for the Steel Wheels performance at IMS
on April 29 (7pm). Please call to reserve your seats; they
are available at $15 for adults and $12 for students.

The Sower Prayer Request: The Ecuador
Partnership invites you to pray for Mennonite brothers and sisters in Venezuela
who are experiencing high inflation and insecurities about the safety of their
families due to the political situation there.

position. This is a
full-time position, working with the young adult programs for Central States,
as well as leadership development. The
location is open within the Central States region, with a preference for an

February, the Women in Leadership Project hosted, All you Need is Love: Honoring the Diversity of Women’s Voices in
Theology, a conference attended by over 190 women from across the
church. The weekend was full of worship,

Mennonite
Mission Network Prayer Request: MMN requests prayers of protection
for members of the Colombia Mennonite Church as they engage in human rights
ministry and provide support for displaced people.
Prayers for faith and learning: Today, March
30, an overnight event will take place for incoming Bluffton University
students. Please pray their experience is
enjoyable, uplifting, and motivating as they soon begin their college life here
at Bluffton.

10 at 7pm for an evening of choral worship given by the Christopher Dock
Mennonite High School choir from Lansdale, PA. They are traveling to the Mennonite High
School Music Festival in Freeman, SD and are being hosted by West Union
enroute.
A night of Southern Gospel Music! The Inspirations will be in concert with the Bontrager Family Singers on
Saturday, April 12, 2014, 6:30pm at the Fairview Mennonite Church. No tickets are required, a love offering will

The annual BBQ pork dinner fundraiser for ministry expenses of CrossWorks Youth
Ministires will be April 13 from 11:45-1:15 at Upper Deer Creek
Church. Cost is on a donation basis.
First Mennonite Church of Iowa City
will be offering GriefShare, a 13-week
discussion/support group for persons who have lost a loved one, on Tuesdays
from 6:30 until 8pm beginning on April 15. Each 90 minute session will begin with a
video, followed by group discussion of the topic. Each participant will receive a workbook to
use during the week. Topics to be
covered include: living with grief; the journey of grief; the effects of grief;
your family and grief; why?; the uniqueness of grief; when your family member
or spouse dies; God’s prescription for grief; feelings of guilt and
forgiveness; stuck in grief; top twenty lesson of grief; and heaven. If you are interested in attending, or would
